What I’m Packing for My Trip to Seaside, Florida ☀️🌴

The countdown is officially over — tomorrow, we’ll be heading to Seaside, Florida for one of the most exciting (and much-needed) trips of the year! We leave early tomorrow morning, November 6th, and get back later in the evening on Tuesday, November 11th, and I could not be more excited.

We’re heading down for Jimmy’s best friend’s wedding, and it’s going to be such a special week celebrating love with friends and family. Jimmy is the best man, and since his family is super close with the groom’s family, everyone is going. Jimmy will be staying with the other groomsmen, and I’ll be staying with his family — so it’s basically a big, happy reunion in the sunshine.

You know I can’t go on any trip without a detailed packing list (and a plan for every outfit), so today I’m sharing everything I’m bringing — from beachwear and workout sets to wedding looks and everything in between.

✈️ Thursday: Travel Day + Casual Dinner

Thursday will mostly be our travel day. Once we arrive, the plan is to keep things relaxed — probably unpack, settle in, and grab a casual dinner somewhere local.

Since I’m still doing my 100-day challenge, I’ll be walking 4 miles, working out, and reading every morning, so of course I’m packing a few workout sets. Luckily, our place has a washer and dryer, so I can wash things mid-trip and pack lighter.

Workout Sets I’m Packing:

  • Navy Form leggings + matching navy and yellow Form sports bra + zip-up

  • Burgundy bike shorts + matching Abercrombie & Fitch sports bra

  • A few tennis skirts with matching tops (always a favorite!)

  • A few other random sets for my daily walks and workouts

For our travel day, I’m keeping it simple and cozy — probably a soft knit set, sneakers, and my go-to travel tote. Dinner will be low-key, so I might throw on a cute sundress or linen pants and a cute top or tank.

☕ Friday: Exploring Seaside + Pickleball

Friday morning will probably start with coffee, exploring the adorable Seaside Circle, and walking around all the cute shops and cafés. Later in the day, we’re playing pickleball with family, friends, and the bridal party — which I’m so excited for!

I don’t have a set outfit yet, but I’m leaning toward my x FP Movement “Swing Of Things” Colorblock Romper. It’s sporty, breathable, and super cute — perfect for an active afternoon.

I’m sure the evening will be another casual dinner, so I’m bringing a few mix-and-match options for dinners throughout the trip, like my Cocolilly’s lobster pants with a white tank and sandals or my Farm Rio Mixed Arabesque Scarves Top with the matching bottoms.

🏖️ Saturday: Beach Day + Relaxing Evening

While the guys go golfing, the girls are heading straight to the beach! ☀️ You can never pack too many swimsuits, and I’m unapologetically bringing four.

Swimsuits I’m Packing:

  • Kate Spade High Neck One Piece – Rosette Solids from Beach2Ocean in Vivid Snapdragon (the color is everything!)

  • Kate Spade Shoulder Bow Tie One Shoulder One Piece – Contrast Solids in black from Beach2Ocean

  • Extra High Leg Cheeky Adjustable Tunneled Side One Piece – Wild Fable™ Yellow/Blue Floral from Target

  • x REVOLVE Miller One Piece Swimsuit by Agua Bendita

Beach Coverups:

  • Target two-piece knit pant coverup set

  • Target sarong - white

  • Button-down dress coverup from Beach2Ocean

I’ll wear my white Steve Madden sandals or casual sneakers depending on the day’s plans. After the beach, I’m sure we’ll do something casual for dinner, so I’ll pack my Maeve Halter Scarf Mini Dress or the AMUR Fran Strapless Mini Dress — both are light, summery, and perfect for a beachy dinner vibe.

💃 Sunday: Shopping, Exploring + Welcome Party

Sunday will be busy but fun — a little shopping and exploring during the day, and then that evening we have the welcome party and rehearsal dinner, followed by a country night out with the bridal party!

For the welcome party, I’m wearing the SNDYS Azaria True Maxi Dress in Blue, paired with my white strappy sandal heels and a white beaded clutch. It’s effortlessly elegant and beachy — exactly what I was envisioning for the evening.

Then for the country night out (which I am so excited for), I’m going full western glam:

  • Black cowgirl boots

  • Black cowgirl hat

  • Black lace maxi dress styled with a belt

  • Black and white silk handkerchief tied around my neck

  • Western-style earrings + accessories

It’s giving coastal cowgirl meets seaside nightlife, and I’m obsessed. 🤠

💒 Monday: Wedding Day

Monday is the big day! The morning will be relaxed — probably coffee, pastries, and a little time to walk around before getting ready.

For the wedding, I have a few gorgeous dress options and truly can’t decide between them yet:

  1. More To Come Lyza Strapless Maxi Dress (yellow floral — soft, romantic, and beachy)

  2. Hutch Strapless Sequin Column Dress (a bold, stunning orange — perfect for a statement moment)

  3. Antonio Melani Jolie Stretch Crepe Sweetheart Neck Floral Appliqué Sheath Midi Dress (elegant, fitted, and timeless)

They’re all so different, but I love them equally! I’ll decide once we’re there, depending on the weather and overall wedding vibe. I’ll pair whichever one I choose with my white strappy sandal heels and a chic clutch.

🥂 Tuesday: Brunch + Travel Home

Our last morning will be the post-wedding brunch before we head to the airport. I’m thinking of wearing something cute but comfy — maybe my Sovere Refine Bodice Strapless Top with my Gianni Bini Beri Crepe Mini Skort, or my pink Gianni Bini skort with my ‘Sweet Caroline’ embroidered tank. Both are easy travel-day looks that still feel pulled together.

👟 Shoes I’m Bringing

I’ve tried to pack smart this time (key word: tried). Here’s what’s coming with me:

  • White Steve Madden sandals (everyday, versatile)

  • White strappy sandal heels (for the welcome party + wedding)

  • Black Marc Fisher sandals (neutral and comfy)

  • Running shoes (for my morning walks and workouts)

  • Casual sneakers (for exploring)

  • Black cowgirl boots (for the country night out!)

🎀 Final Thoughts

I can’t wait for this trip — sunshine, family, beach walks, and celebrating one of Jimmy’s best friends getting married! I’m looking forward to the slower mornings, beach days, and all the special moments that come with wedding weekends.

Of course, I’m so excited to style all of these outfits (and probably overpack just a little bit). There’s something so fun about planning vacation looks — especially for a trip like this where every day has its own vibe. Stay tuned for a Seaside recap when I get back!

Seaside, I am so ready for you! ☀️💛
