This past Saturday, I had the best day attending the U.S. Open at Oakmont with my boyfriend, his family, and my dad and stepmom. It was such a fun experience and honestly one of those days I’ll remember forever.

We made the drive from Canton—about two hours—and got there around 10:30 AM, just in time to explore before things got busy. We had access to the Trophy Club tent, which was so nice to have throughout the day. Between the AC, the shaded seating, private bathrooms, and great food and drinks, it was the perfect break from the heat and the crowds.

We walked around to a few different holes throughout the day and got to see some of the biggest names in golf up close—Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Sahith Theegala, JJ Spaun, Jordan Spieth, Sam Burns, Justin Rose, and Johnny Vegas. It was amazing to see them all in action, and even though it rained for about 30 minutes, the weather overall was great. Things definitely got muddy, but honestly, it just made the day feel more adventurous—and we were all in good spirits.

Of course, I had to check out the merchandise tent, and it did not disappoint. It was packed with people, but they had so many fun finds. I ended up snagging two really cool hats that I’m already obsessed with—such a fun way to remember the day.

For my outfit, I kept it casual and sporty with this green striped Abercrombie active dress, some fun sunnies, cute sneakers, and an Oakmont hat. It was the perfect mix of comfy and cute for a full day walking the course.

Before heading home, we stopped for dinner at Jimmy Wan’s, and it was absolutely delicious—the perfect way to end the day.

Already excited for our next golf adventure, but this one will be hard to beat!
