There’s something so special about the holiday season—the twinkling lights, the snow, the music, the outfits, and of course… the parties. I wait all year for this time when calendars fill up with festive gatherings, cozy nights turn into dressed-up celebrations, and every event feels like a reason to celebrate life, family, friends, and togetherness.

This holiday season has already been so full, and we still have a few fun parties left. From elegant country club evenings to high-energy Christmas celebrations and cozy family gatherings, here’s a little recap of the holiday parties we’ve attended so far—and what I’m looking forward to next.

Our First Holiday Party: Country Club Christmas Kickoff

Our holiday party season officially kicked off on the first Friday of the month at the country club we’re members at, and it was the perfect way to start the festivities. This was an exclusive members-only holiday party, and the energy in the room was so fun—familiar faces we recognize from summer days on the golf course, great conversations, delicious food, live music, and absolutely beautiful Christmas décor.

The club truly transformed the space for the holidays—twinkling lights, festive greenery, and that classic, elegant Christmas atmosphere that instantly puts you in the spirit.

What I Wore

I leaned into classic holiday red for this night:

  • Red Antoinette Stretch Mikado Bow Mini A-Line Skirt by Antonio Melani (Dillard’s)

  • Black velvet turtleneck bodysuit from Express

  • 20 denier black Calzedonia tights

  • Black velvet stilettos

  • Black Marc Jacobs “The St. Marc” Mini Top Handle Bag

It was festive, polished, and felt perfect for a country club holiday event—timeless with just the right amount of fun.

Party #2: Sarah Delaine Brides — Annual Christmas Party & 10-Year Anniversary

That same weekend, we headed to our second holiday party on Sunday night, and this one was extra special. It was Sarah Delaine Brides’ annual Christmas party, and her 10-year anniversary, which made the night even more meaningful.

Sarah truly goes above and beyond every single year—no exaggeration. She throws the BEST Christmas parties. This year was at a brand-new venue, and it was absolutely beautiful. Every detail was thoughtful, festive, and so her.

One of my favorite parts of her parties is the games. She always has something fun planned:

  • Spinning a wheel to win prizes

  • Silly dares you have to complete to keep your prize

  • Minute-to-win-it style games

  • And nonstop laughter all night long

There’s also always a fun photo booth, and this year’s surprise treat was cotton candy, which felt so whimsical and festive. And the prizes… Sarah is unreal. She gives away SO many amazing things every year.

What We Won

  • I won the luxury gift item — a Lola Blanket

  • I also won an Amazon gift card and lottery tickets (which we ended up winning $1,000 on 😭✨)

  • Jimmy won a massive 18-pack of Reese’s (a dream for him)

What I Wore

  • Red Layla Crepe Crew Neck Long Sleeve Flower Appliqué Mini Dress from Gianni Bini (Dillard’s)

  • Clear sequin buckle heels from Lulus

  • Silver clutch from Amazon

What Jimmy Wore

  • Slim Tan Hyper Stretch Jeans from Express

  • Burberry flannel

  • White Filling Pieces sneakers

It was such a joyful, memorable night—one of those parties you leave smiling the entire drive home.

Party #3: Family Friends Christmas Party (Glenmore Edition)

This past Friday, we attended another holiday party hosted by our family friends—people we know through Jimmy’s family and golfing at Glenmore. She always throws amazing parties, and this one did not disappoint.

There was incredible food, festive snacks, great conversation, and one of the biggest highlights: golfing on her golf simulator. It’s always a huge hit and turns into the most fun, competitive night.

To make the evening even more magical, it snowed all day, turning everything into a true winter wonderland. It felt like the kind of night you picture in a Christmas movie—snow falling, elegant outfits, warm lights, and festive cheer.

What I Wore

  • Elliatt Posey Lace Gown (rented from Nuuly)

  • Hair styled half-up with a big black bow

  • Black stilettos with a rhinestone buckle

I received SO many compliments on this look, and it felt incredibly special to wear on such a snowy, magical evening.

The Holiday Parties Still to Come

And the fun isn’t over yet—this weekend is packed with more holiday celebrations!

Saturday: Jimmy’s Sister’s Annual Christmas Party

This is hands-down one of the best nights of the year. It’s always an absolute blast with friends and family—lots of laughter, festive drinks, and holiday cheer.

What I’m Wearing:

  • A black and white maxi knit fur dress from Meshki

  • Black velvet bow pumps from H&M

  • Hair appointment beforehand (I am SO excited about this)

Sunday: My Mom’s Side Family Christmas

A more laid-back, cozy family gathering with my siblings. I’m thinking:

  • A cozy gray cable knit sweater set from H&M

  • Soft, comfortable, casual holiday vibes

Sunday Evening: Another Holiday Party

This one is dressy casual, so I’m planning:

  • A holiday skirt

  • Pantyhose

  • A fun, festive top

  • Fun festive holiday pumps & clutch of course

Final Thoughts: Why I Love Holiday Party Season So Much

I truly love the holidays—the gatherings, the celebrations, the traditions, and especially the holiday style that comes with it all. From elegant dresses and festive skirts to cozy sweaters and sparkly accessories, there’s something so joyful about dressing for the season and celebrating with the people you love.
