On Monday, September 15th, I started something big: the 100 Day Challenge by We Are Raise, created by Coral and Natalie Golding. This isn’t just a fitness program or a productivity sprint—it’s about building discipline, stacking habits, and proving to yourself what’s possible in 100 intentional days.
For me, it’s not just about crossing off boxes every day. It’s about creating a lifestyle shift that will carry me into the holiday season feeling grounded, healthier, and proud of what I’ve accomplished.
✨ What is the 100 Day Challenge?
The 100 Day Challenge is a structured way to set daily, non-negotiable goals that push you to stay consistent and accountable. The framework is simple: you choose your commitments and stick to them for 100 days straight. There are no “do-overs”—if you miss a day, you start back at Day 1. It’s tough love, but it’s also freeing. Instead of negotiating with yourself daily about whether you should work out, read, or skip dessert, the rules are already made. All that’s left is to show up.
🎯 My 100 Day Commitments
Here are the challenges I’ve set for myself:
Walk 4 miles every day - Movement in the fresh air is my reset button. Whether it’s morning, lunch break, or evening, I’ll carve out time to get those steps in & on most days I'll be adding my weighted vest too!
Workout at least 20 minutes every day - On top of walking, I’ll mix in strength training, Pilates, yoga, or HIIT. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about building consistency and strength.
Read at least 15 minutes every day - Instead of doomsday scrolling or watching mindless TV, I want to finish more books and feed my mind with stories, information, and wisdom.
No sweets for 100 days - If you know me, you know sugar and sweets are my weakness, so this will be a big test of discipline. I’m swapping dessert for tea, fruit, or mindful snacking. - on the plus side, I can still have popcorn :)
Post on IG and LTK every day - Creativity and consistency go hand-in-hand. This will push me to share my life, outfits, and finds daily without overthinking.
No spending (with exceptions) - My only spending will be for:
My Seaside trip in November 🏖️
A Thanksgiving dress 🦃
A Christmas dress 🎄
Christmas Gifts for others 🎁This boundary will help me stay intentional with money and reduce impulse buys.
🧠 Why These Goals?
Each one touches a part of my life:
Body: walking + working out daily
Mind: reading + journaling
Health: no sweets
Creativity: daily posts on IG + LTK
Discipline: financial boundaries
Together, they build a more balanced, intentional routine.
I’m starting this 100 Day Challenge because I want to prove to myself that discipline creates freedom. These commitments—walking 4 miles a day, moving my body with workouts, reading, journaling, cutting out sweets, showing up daily on IG and LTK, and saying no to unnecessary spending—aren’t just tasks on a list. They’re building blocks for the life I want to create.
No sweets reminds me that I’m in control of my cravings, not the other way around. I want to fuel my body with choices that make me feel energized and confident.
Walking 4 miles every day is about fresh air, clearing my head, and honoring the gift of movement.
Reading daily stretches my mind and replaces scrolling with growth, learning, and imagination.
Posting on IG and LTK every day pushes me creatively and helps me show up consistently for the community I’ve been building.
No non-essential spending teaches me to value what I already have, stay mindful with money, and focus on experiences and intentional purchases.
My “why” is bigger than just the next 100 days—it’s about proving to myself that I can stay consistent, keep promises I make to myself, and walk into the holiday season with pride in the habits I’ve built. I want to feel lighter, stronger, more creative, and more grounded. This challenge is my reminder that I’m capable of more than I think, and that showing up daily—even in the smallest ways—creates lasting change.
Every mile, every page, every journal entry, every post is me choosing discipline, growth, and alignment with the best version of myself. That’s my why.
🚀 What I Expect from These 100 Days
To feel physically stronger and more energized
To reduce sugar cravings and enjoy real, whole food more
To have a clearer, calmer mind from reading and journaling daily
To grow my online platforms through daily creative posting
To save money by saying no to mindless shopping
To head into the holiday season proud of my self-control and habits
📅 Day 1: Monday, September 15th
And here we go. Day One is always the easiest—there’s excitement, motivation, and that fresh-start energy. But I know this journey isn’t about Day One. It’s about Day 29, Day 57, Day 78—the days when I’ll feel tired, tempted, or unmotivated.
That’s where discipline comes in. That’s where the magic happens.
📝 My Plan for Accountability
Tracking: I’ll mark off each day in my journal with a simple checklist.
Sharing: Posting daily on IG and LTK will hold me publicly accountable.
Reflection: Weekly blog updates to share progress, struggles, and wins.
🌟 Final Thoughts
I’m excited (and a little nervous) to see where I’ll be on Day 100. That day will land right before the holidays, which feels perfect—what better gift to give myself than confidence, discipline, and proof of what I can accomplish when I commit?
Here’s to showing up, every single day. Here’s to 100 days of growth!
