My Galentine’s Party Recap: Cupids Café with My Favorite Girls 💗

This past weekend I hosted my annual Galentine’s party, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about how perfect it turned out. There’s just something so special about slowing down, gathering your closest girlfriends, and celebrating love, friendship, and all the little moments that make life sweet.

I started setting up early Friday morning, and this year I decided to switch things up and host in my dining room instead of my usual space — and I’m so glad I did. There were only eight of us (a few girls couldn’t make it), which meant I was able to fit everyone comfortably around one big table. I actually loved how intimate it felt. Having everyone together made conversation flow so easily, and it gave the whole party such a cozy, connected vibe.

Using the dining room also gave me a totally new layout to work with. I used my buffet sideboard to serve all the food, set up a drink station in the kitchen, and let the rest of the room shine as our main gathering spot. It truly gave the party a whole new feel, and now I’m already dreaming about hosting more events in that space.

The Menu

Let’s talk about the spread — because it was everything.

I served:

  • Fresh croissants and danishes from Brimfield Bread Oven

  • Scones from Scribbles Cafe

  • Homemade cinnamon rolls with pink icing (so festive!)

  • A quiche I made myself

  • Donuts from Dunkin' (of course)

  • A big fruit bowl for something fresh and colorful

  • And the cutest heart-shaped cake from Buehler’s

All of my florals were also from Buehler’s, and wow — they were absolutely stunning. Soft pinks, whites, and pops of red tied everything together so beautifully. Flowers truly make such a difference when you’re setting the mood for a party.

Decorating Cupids Café

The theme was Cupids Café, and I had so much fun bringing it to life. I decorated the ceiling and walls with balloons using painter’s tape (which made setup surprisingly easy). It added such a fun, whimsical touch without damaging anything — highly recommend if you’re decorating at home.

One of my favorite details was my Cupids Café banner, made by a girlfriend of mine — and she absolutely nailed it. It was the perfect focal point and tied the entire theme together. I loved it so much that I carefully saved it to reuse next year.

For drinks, I served iced coffee, hot coffee, juice, and of course… Shirley Temples (because they’re nostalgic and adorable). The cups were extra cute thanks to custom little stickers I designed on Canva — such a small detail, but it made everything feel more personalized and intentional.

Our Galentine’s Craft

For our activity, we decorated claw clips — and honestly, they turned out SO cute. Everyone picked their designs, colors, and rhinestones, and it was so fun seeing each girl’s personality come through in their clip.

I chose a white claw clip and wrote my name in cursive with pink rhinestones, and I’m officially obsessed with it. It feels so special knowing I made it myself, and I’ve already been wearing it nonstop.

Crafting together always ends up being one of my favorite parts of these gatherings. There’s something so relaxing about sitting around a table, chatting, laughing, and creating together.

My Outfit + Final Thoughts

I ended up wearing a pink knit dress from Amazon, and it was perfect for the day — comfy, cute, and totally on theme.

More than anything, this Galentine’s party reminded me how grateful I am for my friendships. Being surrounded by my closest girls, sharing good food, creating together, and just spending quality time meant everything to me. Life gets busy, and moments like these are such a beautiful reminder to pause and celebrate the people who make your world brighter.

I’m already dreaming up ideas for next year — but for now, I’m soaking in all the memories from this sweet little Cupids Café weekend. 💗
