There is truly no better way to kick off a brand-new year than surrounded by your favorite girls, cozy pajamas, bubbles in hand, and a little sparkle everywhere you look. This past Saturday, I hosted my January Craft Night, which doubled as a New Year’s Girls Night In, and it was honestly one of my favorite nights we’ve had yet.

The theme was PJs & Prosecco, with a glam twist—think disco balls, black bows, candlelight, and festive New Year’s details throughout my home. It felt equal parts cozy, celebratory, and creative… the perfect way to close out the holidays and welcome a fresh start.

The Decor: Disco Dreams & Black Bow Details 🖤🪩

I hosted the night in my formal living room, transforming the space into the ultimate sparkly craft haven. I hung fun balloons from the ceiling, which immediately set the celebratory tone the second you walked in. For seating and crafting, I set up two 6-foot tables and layered them with my floor-length white tablecloths, which made everything feel elevated and intentional.

The centerpieces were one of my favorite parts—simple but impactful. I styled a mix of candles, disco balls, and leftover holiday ornaments, and the way everything reflected the candlelight was so magical. It felt festive without being over-the-top and worked perfectly for a New Year’s celebration.

For place settings, I leaned hard into the bow theme. I used paper placemats with black bows from Amazon, paired with the cutest black bow plates and napkins from Hobby Lobby. These little details tied everything together and made the tablescape feel playful yet chic. And of course… I added disco balls and black bows anywhere I possibly could. Even the ice bowl was a disco ball, which felt very on-theme and brought a fun surprise element to the bar setup.

The Crafts: Creative, Meaningful & So Much Fun ✂️✨

Every month, the crafts are the heart of the night—and this time, they were truly a hit. We worked on two different crafts, and both ended up being our favorites yet. First, we created our own 2026 Bingo Cards. This was such a fun way to think ahead, dream big, and laugh together while filling in goals, hopes, and fun predictions for the future. It sparked so many conversations and really set the tone for the year ahead.

Our second craft was adding sparkle to our favorite photos, and it was such a sweet, creative activity. There’s something so special about taking a meaningful memory and turning it into a piece of art. Everyone got so into it, and it was one of those crafts where time just flew by. Between the laughter, creativity, and conversation, it reminded me exactly why I love hosting these nights so much.

The Menu: A Little Bit of Everything 🍾🍓

No craft night is complete without amazing food, and this menu was stacked. I wanted a mix of easy finger foods, festive treats, and a few fun surprises. Here’s what we served:

  • Charcuterie cups in martini glasses

  • Shrimp cocktail

  • Fig crostinis with brie cheese (the absolute hit of the night)

  • Goat cheese salad

  • Chick-fil-A nuggets and fries

  • Neapolitan cake

  • Cute NYE sugar cookies

  • Chocolate-covered strawberries

  • Sugar-covered Prosecco grapes

For drinks, we had:

  • Champagne & Prosecco

  • Sparkling grape juice

  • Shirley Temples

  • Sparkling water & ginger ale

One of my favorite little details was the French fries. I ordered white paper cups, added cute NYE stickers, and served the fries that way—it was such a small thing but made them feel so fun and party-ready.

Party Favors & Finishing Touches 💄🎁

Each girl went home with a fun lip gloss and a Slip hair tie scrunchie as their party favors—practical, cute, and something everyone would actually use. I love sending my friends home with a little reminder of the night, and these felt perfect for a cozy PJ-themed party.

The Night Itself 💕

We spent the entire night laughing, crafting, eating, and catching up, and it was one of those gatherings that just fills your cup. No pressure, no rushing—just good friends, good food, and a whole lot of sparkle. It truly felt like the perfect way to ring in the new year—intentional, joyful, and full of creativity.

What’s Next 💘🎂

I already can’t wait for February’s craft night, which will be celebrating Valentine’s Day and my birthday, of course. I have so many fun ideas planned, and if January is any indication, it’s going to be another unforgettable night.

Stay tuned—and cheers to more craft nights, more memories, and more sparkle in 2026 ✨🥂
