The 2026 Top 50 Fashion Pieces to Shop for Fall

Sep 25
10 min read

Fall fashion is officially here, and this season, I’m giving you permission to have a little more fun with your wardrobe. While the classic fall staples will always have a place in our closets, Fall 2026 is all about personality — rich colors, suede, animal print, statement accessories, interesting silhouettes, playful shoes and pieces that make getting dressed feel exciting again.

I’m especially loving shades of olive, chocolate brown, burgundy, camel, chartreuse and deep red, mixed with unexpected pops of blue and colorful prints. We’re also seeing plenty of texture, from suede and faux fur to satin, leather and jacquard. But remember: you absolutely do not need to buy 50 new things for fall. Think of this as your ultimate shopping list and inspiration guide. Pick the pieces that fill a gap in your closet, make your existing wardrobe more versatile or simply make you excited to get dressed.

1. Reformation Olina Cropped Pant — $198 (Core — Chartreuse)

Let's start with a little color. These chartreuse cropped pants are anything but boring and are such a fun way to bring a bright shade into your fall wardrobe. Try styling them with chocolate brown, navy, burgundy, cream or even olive for an unexpected color combination.

2. Abercrombie & Fitch Curve Love High Rise 90s Relaxed Jean — $90

Every fall wardrobe needs a great pair of relaxed jeans, and I love the effortless silhouette of the 90s-inspired fit. Style them with ballet flats and a fitted sweater for a polished everyday outfit, or add loafers and a blazer for a more elevated look.

3. Zara Faux Suede Belted Jacket — $99 (Dark Camel)

Suede is having a major moment, and this dark camel jacket is an easy way to participate without spending hundreds of dollars. The belted waist also gives it a more feminine shape, making it perfect with everything from denim to skirts and dresses.

4. Polo Ralph Lauren Denim Button-Down Shirt — $168

A denim button-down is one of those pieces that works harder than you think. Wear it buttoned with trousers, open over a tank, tucked into a skirt or layered underneath a sweater. It is a fall wardrobe staple with endless possibilities.

5. Verafied New York Zebra Calf Hair Café Mini Bag — $248

If you're looking for one statement accessory this season, make it animal print. Zebra is a fun alternative to traditional leopard, and a small calf-hair bag adds texture and personality to even the simplest jeans-and-sweater outfit.

6. Schutz Lexi Mid Boots — $298 (Olive Green)

Black boots will always be a classic, but this season I'm making room for something a little more unexpected: olive green. These boots would look beautiful with denim, brown, cream, burgundy and even a pop of chartreuse.

7. Anine Bing Jeremy Baseball Cap — $60

The baseball cap isn't just for running errands anymore. Pair it with a blazer, trench coat, jeans and loafers for that effortless, slightly sporty fashion-girl look. It's also perfect for those second-day-hair fall mornings.

8. Madewell Metal Keeper Belt in Suede — $78

A suede belt is such an easy way to incorporate one of fall's biggest textures without committing to a full suede jacket or skirt. I especially love the idea of styling this with relaxed denim, a tucked-in button-down and loafers.

9. Le Specs Dream Boat Sunglasses — $90

Yes, sunglasses are absolutely a fall accessory. A slightly retro pair instantly makes a basic outfit feel more styled, especially when paired with denim, a jacket and your favorite handbag.

10. BaubleBar Joan Semi-Precious Necklace — $68

This season, jewelry is getting a little more noticeable. Instead of keeping accessories minimal, try a semi-precious necklace with a simple sweater, button-down or T-shirt and let it become the focal point of your outfit.

11. Steve Madden Kit Blue/Red Ballet Flats — $109

One of my favorite trends this season is the fun ballet flat. Instead of another basic neutral shoe, look for unexpected colors and combinations. Blue and red together make such a playful statement with simple denim.

12. Gina Tricot Hairy Mini Skirt — $87

Leopard print and texture? Yes, please. This hairy mini skirt is playful and very fall, especially styled with an oversized sweater, tights and boots or a fitted cardigan and ballet flats.

13. SHSOVO Ezra Cardigan — $99 (Artist Stripe)

I'm always going to be a fan of a colorful stripe. This cardigan makes a statement without requiring much styling — pair it with simple jeans and loafers and let the sweater do all the work.

14. Reformation Sofia East West Shoulder Bag — $348

A structured shoulder bag is one of those accessories that can instantly make an outfit feel more polished. For fall, I love bags in rich shades like chocolate, burgundy, olive and camel rather than automatically reaching for black.

15. Lioness Vista Bomber — $129

The bomber jacket gets a feminine update when you style it with something unexpected. Try one with a skirt, ballet flats or even a dress. That contrast between casual and feminine is what makes the outfit feel modern.

16. Heaven Mayhem Phone Case — $38

Fashion doesn't stop at your clothes. A fun phone case is one of those small accessories that adds personality to your everyday essentials. Choose a color, print or texture that complements your fall wardrobe.

17. Steve Madden Morgan Loafer — $79

A good loafer might be one of the most versatile shoes you can own. Wear them with relaxed denim, trousers, mini skirts, maxi skirts or dresses. Brown, burgundy, suede and animal-print loafers are especially fun this fall.

18. Reformation Raya Fitted Silk Shirt — $198

A fitted silk shirt is the definition of an elevated basic. Wear it with relaxed jeans and loafers during the day, then tuck it into trousers or a skirt for dinner.

19. Never Fully Dressed Maeva Satin Mini Skirt — $106 (Brown Deer Print)

This is the kind of statement piece that makes a wardrobe feel personal. The brown deer print feels perfectly autumnal, while the satin gives it a dressier finish. Add a chunky sweater and boots for a fun fall combination.

20. Poelle Untitled Bag Medium — $410

Olive is one of my favorite colors for fall because it works almost like a neutral. An olive handbag is an easy way to incorporate the color into your wardrobe without committing to an entire outfit.

21. House of Harlow 1960 x REVOLVE Perry Faux Fur Coat — $278

For the girl who believes more is more, a faux fur coat is the answer. Throw it over jeans and a simple top for an elevated everyday outfit, or wear it over a dress for a night out. Either way, it's going to get noticed.

22. Tularosa Clarissa Top — $190

Every fall wardrobe needs a beautiful top that isn't just another basic sweater. This is the type of piece you can pair with denim for dinner, trousers for an event or a skirt when you want something a little more feminine.

23. Gianni Bini Eva Zebra Jacquard A-Line Mini Skirt — $139

Another vote for zebra print. The jacquard texture gives this mini skirt extra dimension, while the A-line silhouette keeps the bold print feeling polished. Style it with a simple sweater and boots.

24. Hill House The Beverly Pant — $198

A polished pair of trousers is one of the best ways to make your fall wardrobe feel more elevated. Wear these with a fitted top and loafers for the office, or dress them down with a simple tee and sneakers.

25. Simon Miller Satin Pointed Gala Wedge — $355

Fall footwear doesn't have to be boring. A satin pointed wedge is such a fun option for weddings, date nights, holiday parties or any occasion where you want your shoes to be part of the outfit.

26. Aritzia Wilfred Golightly Cardigan — $118

Wonder Yarn. The cardigan is getting a starring role this season. Look for interesting textures, beautiful colors and special details instead of treating your cardigan as simply a layering piece.

27. Maude Club Peyton Dress — $240

Having one great fall dress in your closet is a must. Choose something you can style with loafers and a jacket during the day, then switch to boots, statement jewelry and a handbag for dinner or drinks.

28. SRG Hudson Coat — $158

A great coat can completely transform a fall outfit. This is the kind of outerwear piece that can go over jeans and a sweater just as easily as it can go over trousers or a dress.

29. Lioness Long Nights Duster — $110

A long duster is perfect for those transitional fall days when you want a layer that feels more substantial than a cardigan but lighter than a winter coat. Try it with denim and a fitted top for an effortlessly polished look.

30. Bardot x REVOLVE Petra Long Sleeve Playsuit — $229

Who says one-piece dressing is only for summer? A long-sleeve playsuit is an easy fall option when styled with boots, a jacket and a great handbag. It's one outfit with very little effort required.

31. Helsa The Short Trench Jumpsuit — $398

A jumpsuit is another one-and-done outfit that can save you when you're standing in front of your closet thinking, "I have nothing to wear." The short trench-inspired silhouette gives this one a polished, fashion-forward feel.

32. Amber Sceats Miles Earrings — $65

Statement earrings are one of my favorite ways to elevate an otherwise simple outfit. Put these with a white button-down, jeans and a great bag and suddenly your basics look anything but basic.

33. Ralph Lauren Polo ID Mini Suede Shoulder Bag — $498

If you're looking for an investment accessory, a suede shoulder bag is a beautiful place to spend. The texture makes it feel especially appropriate for fall, while the classic silhouette means you'll be able to wear it well beyond one season.

34. Tony Bianco Sweetie Boot — $250

A great pair of boots can completely change your fall wardrobe. Look for interesting shapes, textures and colors rather than automatically buying another basic black pair. Brown, burgundy, olive and suede are all worth considering.

35. Lioness Peak Jean — $90

A great pair of denim doesn't need to cost a fortune. These jeans are an easy everyday option and can be styled with everything from ballet flats and loafers to boots and sneakers.

36. Pistola Cassie Super High Rise Straight Faux Leather Pants — $218

Faux leather pants are a fun way to make your fall wardrobe feel a little edgier. Pair them with a soft oversized sweater and ballet flats to balance the look, or go dressier with heels and a fitted top.

37. Mansur Gavriel Mini Candy Bag — $595

This is definitely an investment piece, but a great handbag can be one of the hardest-working items in your closet. The mini silhouette also makes it feel like a true accessory rather than simply a functional bag.

38. Tory Burch Field Suede Low-Top Sneakers — $250

Sneakers are getting a fall update with rich suede and more polished silhouettes. These would be perfect with relaxed jeans, trousers or even a casual skirt when you want comfort without sacrificing style.

39. Good American The Heritage Jacket — $278

A good jacket is worth investing in because you can wear it constantly. Look for a structured silhouette that works with your existing denim, trousers, skirts and dresses rather than something that only works with one outfit.

40. Joe's Jeans x WeWoreWhat The Jami Chap Jean — $228

A statement pair of jeans can be just as useful as a classic pair. If your closet is full of blue denim, consider trying a different wash, silhouette, texture or detail to make your everyday outfits feel fresh.

41. Coach Slingback Pump — $195

The slingback is such a chic alternative to the traditional pump. Wear it with cropped trousers, jeans, skirts or dresses. It's polished enough for an event but versatile enough for everyday outfits.

42. Burberry Mini Check Barrel Shoulder Bag — $995

For the ultimate investment piece, a classic designer handbag can become a wardrobe staple for years. The mini barrel silhouette also gives the traditional Burberry check a more modern, fashion-forward feel.

43. Schutz Siena Mid Buckle Pump — $178

A buckle detail can make a classic shoe feel much more interesting. This is a great option when you want something polished for work, dinner, events or nights out without reaching for an ultra-high heel.

44. Amanda Uprichard Duke Bomber Jacket — $246

The bomber trend continues into fall, but styling is everything. Try balancing the relaxed shape with something feminine underneath — a skirt, fitted dress or silk top — for a look that feels intentional rather than overly casual.

45. Amanda Uprichard Sleeveless Fabienne Top — $172

A sleeveless top might seem like a summer purchase, but don't put it away once September arrives. Layer it under blazers, jackets and cardigans for a fall outfit that works beautifully from the office to dinner.

46. Lioness Peak Jeans — $110

Yes, I'm including another pair of Peak Jeans because denim is one category where having options really does make sense. A second wash or color gives you another foundation for all those fall sweaters, jackets and statement accessories.

47. LE BOP Olivia Organza Skirt — $128

Organza brings a little romance to fall. Style a feminine skirt like this with a chunky knit and boots for that perfect combination of soft and structured, feminine and casual.

48. Rails Joelle Top — $168

A beautiful printed or detailed top is one of the easiest ways to make jeans feel like an actual outfit. Add statement earrings, a belt and loafers and you're ready for everything from lunch to date night.

49. The Favorite Daughter The Leopard Favorite Belt — $98

Consider this your sign to stop treating belts like an afterthought. A leopard belt can completely change a simple outfit and is especially good with denim, black, brown, cream and burgundy.

50. Citizens of Humanity Palma Straight Jean — $248

And we're ending with another great pair of denim because, honestly, you can never have too many really good jeans. A straight-leg silhouette is timeless, easy to style and works beautifully with everything from ballet flats and loafers to tall boots.

The Takeaway

If there's one theme tying all 50 of these pieces together, it's personality. Fall fashion doesn't have to mean buying the same camel coat, black boots and neutral sweater every year. This season, I'm encouraging you to experiment a little more. Add an unexpected color. Try animal print. Wear a statement belt. Trade your basic black loafers for burgundy or olive. Add a colorful stripe. Mix textures. Wear something that makes you smile. And most importantly, shop your own closet first.

You don't need an entirely new wardrobe to participate in fall fashion. Sometimes all it takes is a new belt, a statement shoe, a colorful handbag or one really great jacket to make the pieces you already own feel brand new. So whether you're looking for a $38 accessory or saving up for a $995 investment bag, let your fall shopping list be less about buying more and more about buying better, more intentionally and with a little more fun. Because the best fall wardrobe isn't the one filled with the most trends. It's the one that feels the most like you.
