A week of celebrating the new Mr. & Mrs. Miller!
This past week, Jimmy, his family, and I spent a long weekend in the beautiful Seaside, Florida for one of the most special occasions — Jimmy’s best friend’s wedding! It was truly the most beautiful few days filled with sunshine, laughter, family, friends, and the sweetest memories. From cozy mornings at Black Bear to dancing under the stars on the beach, every moment was pure joy. Here’s a full recap of our trip — from travel day to the dreamy wedding day and everything in between!
Thursday: Travel Day + Welcome Dinner
Thursday was mostly a travel and settle-in kind of day. Once we arrived in Seaside, we unpacked, got comfortable, and then made our way over to have dinner with the bride, groom, and any guests who had already made it into town. It was the perfect low-key start to the weekend — we visited with friends and family, played games, and watched the most stunning sunset over the water.
I wore my pink American flag sweater from Cocolilly’s, and it was such a cute cozy choice for our first evening. It gave that casual coastal vibe with a touch of festive charm — perfect for Seaside nights.
Friday: Seaside Strolls, Shopping, and Pickleball Fun
We started our Friday with a long, leisurely walk around Seaside — truly one of my favorite things to do there. The colorful beach houses and relaxed pace instantly put you in vacation mode. Naturally, we had to stop at Black Bear Bread Co. for coffee and breakfast. I ordered their bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich and the Beekeeper Latte, and it was delicious. It took everything in me not to grab one of their little pastries, but I survived the temptation!
After breakfast, we explored the Seaside Circle shops and did a little shopping and site seeing. I found a cute matching set, we grabbed a few books, and picked out some fun little gifts for the kids.
For lunch, we stopped at Wine World, which is one of my favorite casual Seaside spots. We shared a few small plates before heading back to the house to relax for a bit.
That morning, Ali and I matched in our navy and yellow Form activewear sets, and it was so cute! We played in a little pickleball tournament later that afternoon — we didn’t win, but we definitely took home the title of Best Dressed. I wore my FP Movement Swing of Things Colorblock Romper, which was such a hit and got so many compliments.
That evening, we ordered AJ’s for dinner and had a cozy night in with family. Later, I met up with Jimmy and the bridal party for some hot tub time and games — mostly Family Feud, which was hilarious and so much fun. I wore my Agua Bendita x Revolve Miller One-Piece Swimsuit, and it was the perfect balance of chic and comfy for a relaxed night with friends.
Saturday: Beach Day & Country Night Out
Saturday was a split day — the guys went golfing while the girls had a breakfast and pool/beach day. For breakfast, I wore my new Abercrombie burgundy bike short and sports bra set, which was so flattering and comfortable.
For our pool day, I wore my Kate Spade High Neck One-Piece (Rosette Solids) from Beach2Ocean, and I got so many compliments on it! It’s classic, feminine, and perfect for lounging in the sun.
That evening, we got dressed up for dinner at Mimo’s as a family. I wore my Antonio Melani linen square neck mini dress paired with white strappy sandal heels, and it was such a timeless, coastal look. I ordered the lobster ravioli, and it was absolutely incredible — one of my favorite meals of the trip!
Later that night, we met up with everyone again at AJ’s for a Country Night Out celebration in honor of the bride and groom. I went full western-chic in a black lace maxi tank dress, black booties, a black cowgirl hat, and a western belt and necklace. It was such a fun theme and we had the best night — so many laughs, lots of dancing, and a few sore feet by the end of it!
Sunday: Rehearsal & Welcome Party
Sunday morning started slow with a delicious breakfast at The Perfect Pig with a few friends. It’s such a cozy, Southern-style spot — a total Seaside favorite. After a little downtime, we had the rehearsal at 2:00, followed by the rehearsal dinner and a welcome party at Wine World.
It was such a lovely day celebrating the bride and groom surrounded by all of their closest people. I wore my Azaria True Maxi Dress by SNDYS from Revolve, and it was such a dreamy beachy cocktail look. I got so many compliments on it, and it felt effortless yet special — perfect for a pre-wedding evening.
Monday: Wedding Day!
The big day! We started the morning with (you guessed it) breakfast at The Perfect Pig again — because it’s just that good. After that, I packed up a few things and started getting ready for the wedding.
For the ceremony and reception, I wore my Lyza Strapless Maxi Dress by MORE TO COME from Revolve, paired with white strappy sandals and my gold YSL clutch. It was the perfect coastal, beachy, yet elegant look for the occasion.
The ceremony took place at the famous white chapel in Seaside, and the reception followed right on the beach at Bud & Alley’s Waterfront Restaurant. It was absolutely magical — everything you’d imagine for a romantic beach wedding surrounded by friends and family.
Jimmy was the best man and gave the ultimate best man speech (proud girlfriend moment!). We danced all night long under the stars — and of course, my favorite moment was singing “Sweet Caroline” with everyone. It was the most joyful, love-filled night and a memory we’ll cherish forever celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Miller. 💍✨
Tuesday: Farewell Brunch & Goodbyes
Our trip came to a close on Tuesday with a lovely farewell brunch before heading to the airport. It was the perfect ending to an incredible week filled with laughter, love, and friendship.
We’re so thankful to have been part of such a special celebration — and to have spent a few extra days soaking up the beauty and charm of Seaside. Here’s to the new Mr. and Mrs. Miller — we love you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! 💕
