Making our home a home

It has been SO fun to design and decorate our new home little by little. We moved into our home knowing that we wanted to change every single little thing from door knobs, to the paint colors, to the lights, faucets, outlet covers, you name it. Every week, I am finding new things and deals that I cant pass up. I took a few weeks off of buying things for the house. I felt like I hit a roadblock and was over thinking everything and getting way ahead of myself. So this week I went crazy! I pulled the plug on so many fun things! I found a gold drum flush light from world market for our family room and cant wait to get it up and finally have some light in there! I also found the best faux fiddle leaf tree for an empty corner in our family room and we love the way it has filled the space! I also finally pulled the plug on our kitchen chandelier. It is by Scott Living on Wayfair. I love the contemporary look with the gold color and shades. A few other miscellaneous things we have been needing that I recently bought include; a wet bar faucet, a rug for my studio room, a chandelier that I love and am planning on using in our master bedroom or in the foyer, 2 matching accent chairs from Target for our master bedroom, vanity lights and faucets for our 2nd floor guest bathroom, gold cabinet knobs for our bedroom furniture, and the prettiest gold mirrored bamboo tray that I plan to use on our wet bar our in the main floor powder room!
