I cant believe the year is already half over! I feel like I still I have so much I wish to accomplish by the end of 2024 with such little time to do so. Especially since this is my last year in my twenties - CRYING. I feel like wellness is a huge center of my life right now and trying to be the best version of myself. I figured I'd share a few things I've been doing and want to start incorporating in my life. To start, I have been on a big podcast kick lately and I wanted to share a few of my favorites. I listen to a podcast on my way to work every morning to get my mind ready for the day. I feel like listening to others share their experiences, products, ideas, and information is a great way to learn new things and it honestly motivates me in so many ways. I listen to a few different ones that cover a wide range of my interests, so lets dive in!
Here are a few of my favorites lately:
Transform with Sami Spalter and Sami Clark
Life with Marianna
Wellness Her Way with Gracie Norton
Move with Heart with Melissa Wood-Tepperberg
The Blonde Files with Arielle Lorre
The Dream Bigger Podcast
Pursuit of Wellness with Mari Llewellyn
Other than podcasts, I have been trying to read more both fiction and non fiction as well as journal. I have been consistently walking but am in a funk when it comes to working out. I really want to start journaling, reading non-fiction, and walking every morning before work and then after work get a little workout in and do some fiction reading before bed, Another thing that has been at the center of my focus is skincare and beauty wellness. I am trying to minimize my routine and the products I use and a currently am using Day + West, Lendava, and Naturium. I will do a more specific skincare routine in another blog post for you all :) And most recently, I am starting to notice some allergic reactions, bloating, fatigue, and brain fog and have a strong feeling it's my diet, specifically gluten. Id love to hear any advice or opinions if you have a gluten allergy. The testing is so expensive, I am thinking about trying to give it up for 4 weeks and see what happens but that is an entire new lifestyle that I really need to prepare for and seems so difficult!
